Scio Township voters - check here first!

Apparently, polling places listed in some online publications had some errors for Scio Township. If you vote in Scio Township, please check the list below to see your voting location for today’s election:
Precinct 1- Dexter Senior Center
Precincts 2,3,4 Scio Township Hall (change for Precinct 4)
Precinct 5 – Scio Farms MHP Clubhouse
Precincts 6&8 – Scio Fire Hall (change for precinct 8)
Precincts 7&9 – WISD (change for precinct 9)

this post is so much informative and interesting about the Scio Township. Foster bought a mill site on the Huron River at what is now Scio in 1835. The community was platted by Dr. Cyril Nichols from Vermont.mcse exam A post office was established in 1835. mcts exam The office was moved to Delhi Mills and renamed in February 1871, though the Scio office was re-established in September 1871. The community took its name, which means “I know” in Latin, from the township; however, early township records were destroyed by fire, and it is uncertain why that name was chosen. There are at least two other origins suggested for the name. microsoft 70-270 One, suggests it derives from the Greek island of Chios, and the other that was named after Scio, New York.
